Nick Baciu has fifteen years of experience providing financial consulting services related to the valuation of intellectual property in both litigation and non litigation contexts. This includes the appraisal of patents, copyrights, trade secrets and trademarks for acquisitions and divestitures, capital raises, bankruptcy and restructuring, litigation support, financial reporting and tax matters. This also includes the establishment of intellectual property monetization strategies for licensing, mergers and joint venture/partnership formations. Mr. Baciu also assists in the determination of business enterprise valuations and the quantification of economic damages arising from disputes.

Mr. Baciu is the COO and Co Founder of Truest Consulting, LLC. Truest Consulting provides valuation and expert testimony services involving economic damages with a specific focus on intellectual property. He is a former Director at Ocean Tomo, a part of JS Held, based out of the San Francisco, California office. Ocean Tomo is an intellectual property focused boutique that provides a variety of financial consulting services.

Mr. Baciu graduated with a Bachelor’s and an MBA degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with dual concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
