Analyst

Location: Bellingham, WA

Job Description:

We are looking for a recent graduate to join our growing team as an Analyst.  The position will begin the summer of 2025. This role involves performing detailed company and industry research, as well as complex financial analysis in order to determine the value of intellectual property in a variety of industries in both litigation and non-litigation settings.  No prior experience in the field is necessary.  We’re looking for individuals that are both self-motivated and eager to learn in a collegial environment.  

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting financial analyses, damages assessments, and valuations of intellectual property.

  • Carrying out detailed and comprehensive industry research.

  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with team members.

  • Developing and delivering coherent, supported summaries of your research and analysis.

  • Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail in all tasks and projects. 

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree with a quantitative focus (e.g. Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting).

  • Superior writing, communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

  • A foundational understanding of accounting and finance. 

  • Highly motivated with a proven ability to solve complex problems and perform detailed research.

  • Ability to work effectively in an independent and team-oriented environment.

  • Strong drive to learn, improve and succeed in an entrepreneurial setting.

  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or higher.

Position Salary & Benefits:

The salary range estimate for this role is $65,000 - $72,000, plus a discretionary bonus.  We provide all employees with competitive benefits including unlimited PTO, medical, dental, and vision, non-profit contributions, and the ability to work from home.
